Unfortunately not. I heard they came up with Asus Eee PC 1000 (without HD) that have a 40GB solid state harddisk… And I agree, I hope their screen res get better and better

Is the 80GB Drive in this Solid State?
The 7 hour battery life sounds great. Wish they would come up with higher res screens on these netbooks.
